Muscular Dystrophy Association
MDA is the largest source of funding for neuromuscular disease research, outside the federal government. They have been able to commit more than $1 billion in funding since its inception.
The Kids for Kids Foundation
The Kids for Kids Foundation was established in 2008 to help children and families battling catastrophic diseases. Its community is made up of friends, family, and colleagues who organize and support family-oriented fundraising events.
National Italian American Foundation
Since its founding in 1975, NIAF has contributed tens of millions of dollars towards educational and cultural initiatives that improve the collective well-being of the Italian American community.
Hamilton-Madison House
A voluntary, non- profit settlement house, dedicated to improving the quality of life of its community. The neighborhood is a federally designated poverty area, with a constantly changing mixture of ethnic groups, and lack of adequate services and resources.
Diabetes Research Institute Foundation
There are many organizations devoted to the care of diabetes patients and the education of the public about diabetes. But there is only one national organization devoted solely to developing a biological cure for diabetes: The Diabetes Research Institute and Foundation.
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
2019-2021 Strategic Plan: This plan guides and informs the impact the NMSS hopes to have in the MS movement through 2021. It reflects the perspectives of more than 3,000 people affected by MS who were engaged to understand what matters most in improving the quality of people’s lives.
Florina Rusi-Marke Foundation
Florina Rusi Marke lived her life in a way that served as an inspiration to everyone whose lives she touched. As a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, she embodied all the virtues that comprise the human spirit. The Florina Rusi Marke Cancer Foundation strives to keep Florina’s joyous energy alive through their work to educate, raise awareness, and fundraise to help treat and cure breast cancer.
The Ronald McDonald House of New York
provides pediatric cancer patients and their families temporary lodging and care in a strong and supportive environment while their child battles cancer in the New York City area.
NYS Troopers PBA Signal 30 Benefit Fund
The Signal 30 Benefit Fund was created by the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. (PBA) in 2005. The Signal 30 Benefit Fund supports the families of New York State Troopers and other law enforcement personnel who are killed in the line of duty.
NYPD Sports
Hosts an annual golf classic to benefit The Police Relief Fund which provides active and retired Law Enforcement Officers and their families with medical equipment, such as but not limited to, oxygen therapy, pulmonary aid supplies, wheelchairs, electrical hospital beds, crutches, canes as well as needed medical transportation via Ambulance to and from New York City.
Ann Liguori Foundation
The Ann Liguori Foundation raises funds and awareness for cancer research and care. Each year, The Ann Liguori Foundation Charity Golf Classic is held every year to benefit organizations such as St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital; the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation; KIDS NEED MORE, camps and programs for children with cancer; East End Hospice, and many other not-for-profit organizations. The Foundation also supports scholarships and mentorship programs for students working to pursue a career in sports media.
